Let's Dive in Together
Welcome, and thank you for visiting. I'm so glad you're here.
I’ve been in private practice for over 15 years, working with individuals who are navigating life’s challenges and seeking more clarity, connection, and balance. In addition to being a therapist, I’m a mom to a wonderful son and two quirky, lovable cats. When I’m not in session, you can often find me in the open water—I have a deep love for swimming and still enjoy competing internationally as an ultra-distance marathon swimmer. I’m also a passionate traveler who loves exploring new cultures, trying different cuisines (Thai, Italian, and Mediterranean are some of my favorites!), and learning from the world around me. Therapy with me is about growth, curiosity, and meaningful change—and I look forward to possibly being a part of your journey.
My practice is dedicated to supporting highly motivated individuals who are ready to create more mindful, intentional lives. Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship challenges, lack of direction, or issues rooted in your family of origin, therapy can help create meaningful, lasting change.
A significant focus of my work is helping clients navigate major life transitions—the moments in life that feel overwhelming, uncertain, or destabilizing. These may include:
· Starting or ending a relationship or marriage
· Becoming a parent or navigating fertility issues
· Career changes, burnout, or loss of professional identity
· Leaving home, moving, or adjusting to a new environment
· Grief, loss, or major health diagnoses
· Life after college, entering adulthood, or midlife shifts
· Identity exploration or spiritual questioning
These transitions often bring up deeper emotional patterns, unresolved past experiences, or new anxieties that can feel hard to manage alone. In our work together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface—helping you gain clarity, build emotional resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and self-awareness.
In therapy, I utilize mindfulness techniques, emotional regulation skills, and psychoeducation to help you better understand your behaviors, thought patterns, and family of origin. Therapy is a collaborative space: we’ll set meaningful goals and track your progress, so you can see measurable growth in your daily life, relationships, and overall satisfaction. I also believe in the power of movement and exercise as a valuable mental health tool and incorporate this if you are up for it!
Physical activity has been shown to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve mood, boost self-esteem, and increase emotional regulation. Whether through mindful movement, walking, or a structured fitness routine, we can incorporate strategies that support both your physical and emotional well-being.
My approach encourages sustainable habits that strengthen the mind-body connection and support long-term change.
